Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SimpleVids ("SimpleVids," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI-powered video creation services at simplevids.ai (the "Services"). By creating an account, generating videos, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Please review them periodically.

These Terms comply with Romanian law, including the Civil Code and consumer protection regulations, as well as EU directives on digital services.

These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and SimpleVids. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the authority to agree to these Terms.

To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for:

• •Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• •All activities conducted through your account.
• •Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

SimpleVids provides an AI-powered platform for generating videos from text prompts, including features like stock footage integration, voiceovers, captions, and social media exports. We strive to make the Services reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

• ▶Free: A small monthly credit allowance, no social publishing.
• ▶Lite / Pro: A monthly credit allowance and social publishing, as shown on the Pricing page at the time you subscribe.

The Services may evolve, and we may add or remove features at our discretion.

You retain ownership of your text prompts and generated videos ("User Content"). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• •Host, display, and process it to provide the Services, including sending it to providers that generate scripts, voice, captions, or stock footage, and to YouTube or TikTok when you publish.

We own the AI technology and stock assets used in generations; you receive a limited license for personal/commercial use based on your plan.

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful or harmful purpose. Prohibited activities include:

• ✗Generating or distributing illegal, defamatory, or harmful content (e.g., hate speech, deepfakes without consent).
• ✗Violating copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights of others.
• ✗Using the Services to spam, harass, or conduct fraudulent activities.
• ✗Attempting to reverse-engineer or scrape the Services.

Violations may result in account suspension, content removal, or legal action.

Paid plans are recurring digital subscriptions to the Services. The seller is PENGUIN ARTS STUDIO SRL. The price, currency, and billing period are those shown on the pricing page and at checkout when you subscribe. Where VAT applies to an EU consumer, PENGUIN ARTS STUDIO SRL charges it. Payment is taken by Stripe. The paid service starts when the plan is activated.

• •Withdrawal: If you are an EU consumer, you may withdraw from a new paid subscription within 14 days by emailing contact@simplevids.ai from the email address on your account. If you ask us to start the digital service during that period and we do start it, for example because you generate a video on the paid plan, you lose the right to withdraw.
• •Renewal: The subscription renews for the same period at the then-current price until you cancel. Cancel future charges in billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not refund a period that has already started, except where the withdrawal right above still applies.
• •Complaints: You may contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) at www.anpc.ro, and you may also email contact@simplevids.ai.

Card details are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

SimpleVids and its licensors own all rights to the platform, AI models, stock assets, and trademarks. You are granted a limited, revocable license to use the Services for your permitted purposes. You may not remove any proprietary notices.

You may delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Account, or by emailing contact@simplevids.ai from your registered address. We may terminate or suspend access for violations, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, but Sections 5–14 survive. EU consumers have the withdrawal rights described in the payments section.

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including for accuracy of AI outputs.

To the fullest extent permitted by Romanian law, SimpleVids shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the past 12 months.

If you connect YouTube, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Publishing uses the YouTube API. Our collection and use of YouTube data is described in the Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use. You can revoke SimpleVids's access at Google security settings.

If you connect TikTok or another platform, you also agree to that platform's terms. You are responsible for the content you publish and for complying with each platform's rules (copyright, spam, branded content, and similar).

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Courts in Bucharest, Romania may hear disputes, without limiting any mandatory right you have as a consumer to use the courts where you live. EU consumers may complain to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) at anpc.ro.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement.

• •Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect the rest.
• •Waiver: No waiver unless in writing.
• •Assignment: We may assign these Terms; you may not without consent.
